You need to train your body how to move, develope your stance and find and control your center of balance. This is the training that you get in the 3-5 years it takes to get a black belt.
When your at that point, then I believe you can learn from a website but not untill you have learned the basics.

so exp. is the best teacher.....go to the dojo and practice|||well you arnt going to master karate by watching a video online or reading a website. my suggestion is to find a karate school in you%26#039;r area and try it out. most karate schools dont cost more than 100 dollars|||first of all train all you might without someoen looking over your shoulder you will be training the wrong way for months and go out thinking your all big and bad because you have no peers (other students in the studio atmosphere) to show you how much you suc and get your butt kick for reals. look you need that atmosphere in oder to learn correctly. you can never see your own mistakes till you watch some else doing it wrong, or have some one point it out to you. masters have been dieing for centries in order to perfect these styles we have (master qin will see master jong do a flying side kick and drag his hind leg and fall and break his neck, master qin now tucks his leg) poor example i know but you see my point.
