I%26#039;ve found a great number of Martial Arts Studios near where I live and all offer a %26quot;trial lesson%26quot; but no websites are giving me even an IDEA how much they are for a month or week or lesson, etc. Can anyone give me an idea what they pay? Or what they charge?|||unless your getting trained by a olympian or somthing your classes should be 100 bucks a month max. A lot of classes have somthing set up where you can do a half time load. like one class a week for 65 and two a week for 100. start small because its really easy to not like a dojo. Its really common to not like a teacher or students. you really have to click with your dojo. after all their kicking your *** because your paying them to. find one that you want to be a part of. I recomend judo for adult just starting out. its really fun and really easy to get. you wont feel like a dumbass. also juso is very popular so your boi\und to be able to find a few other new student to latch to. (its important to find student at your level to bond with because they will be the ones to progress with you).
the ymca in many cities offers martial arts classes i think after the one time 100 dollar ebnrollment fee its only 48 bucks a month.|||Each schools charges different amounts of money. So there%26#039;s no ways to for any of us here to find out unless you tell us something about the gym or at least the name of it.|||I run my own Karate Club and only charge 拢4 Junior and 拢5 seniors for an Hour and a Half session . Why not check the web-sites but beware loads will rip you off for 拢30 a month membership .Me i charge a lot less .|||lessons go on a monthly tuition basis between 40-100 dollars a month|||Prices vary from one school to another, and certain regions are more expensive then others. Never sign a contract, especially for a long term. Ask to know all the costs up front and get it in writing. If there are a lot of blackbelts that are 12 years old or younger, try somewhere else. If the school promises you a blackbelt in two years or less, find another school. Try the free intro classes to see if you enjoy them, try more then one school though.|||probably around $125 a month|||Pick out the studios you think you like and go check them out. If you find you still like them, talk it over with the head instructor. Even at my dojo the prices vary: some of us have the majority of our family training there, some can%26#039;t come on a regular basis because of work, and some work there as assistant instructors, so our Sensei has different payment plans for many of us.
I have to agree with Ray H; you don%26#039;t want to get caught in a Mcdojo. Make sure you really check out these studios before you talk prices.|||I pretty much agree with Ray H on everything except I don%26#039;t feel there should be Black Belts under 16, but that is a personel observation. Just call around and find out prices. Again stay away from Mcdojo%26#039;s, most of which will have the things Ray H warned you about.|||Try giving them a call, or stopping in.|||i think theres no problem in asking them directly or maybe you%26#039;ll find someone you know there|||1st: choose the martial arts style that is good for you, then phone around for prices.
Your body and types of Arts:
