What types and how many martial arts/fighting styles do the navy seals learn?

I searched around google cause I was interested in knowing what type of fighting style/martial arts the navy seals learn. And I was surprised when i got answers like everything from kick boxing to Filipino weapons training. So I was hoping someone else could clear it up|||The Navy SEALS learn learn and empty hand fighting system known as close quarters combatives. A variety of different fighting systems including JKD and Brazilian jujutsu are included in the SEALS combatives.|||You will go to a course called Close Quarters Defense or CQD (Duane Dieter), you will also have access to Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai on the East Coast and they are working on teaching Sylat Knife Techniques. CQD is the only course that is mandated however, the Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai are available on your own, in the team compound area and in the mornings for PT if you want to go and many do. They are attempting to get it to be available for more hours but that is still in the works and will take sometime. I am sure the West Coast will do the same or better.|||Around Third Phase of BUD/S, SEAL candidates go through a close quarters combat course where they take mixed martial arts that include techniques from over 50 different fighting styles, ranging from Kung Fu, Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Western boxing and Krav Maga so yes it is true that they don%26#039;t learn from just one specific style.. They%26#039;re also known to practice armed combat courses that make them be pretty handy with a knife as well.
