Why are boxers bragging around that martial arts suck well in fact boxing IS A MARTIAL ART?

Why do they keep saying this well in fact they don`t know anything about martial arts except what they see in movies and TV?Why are they saying this well in fact they only think martial arts come from ASIA(DESPITE THE FACT THAT EVERY CULTURE HAS ONE)?And why are they saying that martial arts suck well in fact BOXING IS A MARTIAL ART?What is up with this?|||All combat sports Boxing included have a certain amount of pride so they think that their sport is the best (not to imply that Martial Arts are a sport since there is sport Martial Arts as well as Traditional Martial Arts but for this letter lets say it this way) Many Martial Artist will say that their form of Martial Arts is better that the others. Many Boxers haven%26#039;t a clue of what Martial Arts are all about even to the point that they deny that Boxing in its own right is a form of Martial Arts as a combat sport. They go to gyms train and go up the ranks if you will even if not as we as Martial Artist do. They simply don%26#039;t see the use of Martial Arts as a streetwise combat system as many do Boxing but fail to that in the streets boxing has no actual practical application as the Self Defense aspect of Martial Arts do. Martial Arts train you for defensive situations by teaching you defensive techniques aside from punching and kicking but break-falls rolling techniques etc.. which are not found in the Boxers arsenal of punching techniques. So as far as im concerned don%26#039;t pay any mind to the boxers opinion of Martial Arts they are just expressing pride and lack of knowledge of Eastern martial Arts.|||Stop being a martial lawyer by splitting hairs on definitions and other ridiculous things that you should have no regard for. If your focus is on martial arts (or whatever you%26#039;d like to call what you do) for self defense then you have nothing to prove. You can defend yourself and your loved ones and that is what matters.

If you feel the need to prove how effective your martial art is (especially against boxers) then come to an agreement on some rules and spar or fight this boxer. And don%26#039;t tell me you can%26#039;t adapt to having rules sparring because your %26quot;deadly%26quot; techniques are integral to your fighting combos. I spar all the time with fellow martial artists and anyone else who has fighting skills without using my most devestating combos/ techniques. That%26#039;s how you hone your timing to be able to execute finishing blows/techniques.

One way or the other remember these are all combat arts. Be a martial warrior and not a martial lawyer.|||because boxers think that only one style of fighting can work in any situation. but the truth of the matter is that you need to learn many different styles in order to become a well rounded fighter and can handle any situation. i love boxing, but MMA is better.|||I would argue that Boxing isn%26#039;t a martial art, though it is a fighting sytle. Martial arts imbue the aspects of spirituality and fairness as well as physical perfection. Boxers are good at fighting, not the best, and to me not martial artists. Just my opinion though.|||It would be foolish to argue with a fool. Let those people believe what they want. There is no sense in people trying to find out who is the bigger fool. no one can take from you your knowledge. There is nothing to debate.|||They havent seen the Art Jimmerson Royce Gracie fight
